The finite element method (FEM) is a computational modelling technique that has been employed in many scientific and industrial applications. Despite the significant developments of FEM during the past decades, some key technical challenges remain outstanding. Therefore, new challenging problems are continuously emerging with the growth of new explorations in scientific and industrial environments. These issues attract enormous interest from the researchers to make great efforts in developing novel principles, techniques, algorithms, and schemes to improve precision, efficiency, robustness, and applicability of the conventional FEM. The main focus of the FEM session in the AESSM is on the latest ideas, developments, and applications in the field of FEM. 

Call for papers: 

This conference aims to provide a valuable and timely opportunity where the scientists can share their most recent investigations and disruptive ideas, reveal new advances to improve the fundamental understanding of finite element methods.
