Due to limiting social gathering policy imposed by the government, AESSM 2021 will be conducted through a virtual presentation. The presentation format will be informed accordingly through email by the secretariat.

The health and safety of participants is our top priority.

Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to warmly invite all the experts and academicians from around the world to the the International Conference on Advanced Experimental and Simulation Studies of Materials (AESSM 2021). This conference will be conducted virtually on the 16th - 17th December 2021.

Understanding the importance of technologies fusion, most countries are forging ahead with the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR4.0). To direct it towards a future that reflects our common objectives and values in Materials Engineering, the theme of this year's assemblage is " Together We Embrace IR4.0". This conference is a good platform to facilitate networking, information exchange, intellectual discourses and collaborations among the delegates in realizing IR4.0.

Let us embrace IR4.0 with passion for a better future!!!

Kind Regards,

Prof. Dr. Patrick Masset (Chairman)
TU Koszalin - Poland

Corrosion

aessm 2021

Dr. Peyman Taheri, TU Delft University - the Netherlands

Corrosion is a natural process that converts a refined metal into a more chemically stable form such as oxide, hydroxide, or sulfide. It is the gradual destruction of materials (usually a metal) by chemical and/or electrochemical reaction with their environment. Corrosion engineering is the field dedicated to controlling and preventing corrosion.

Phase transformation

AESSM2021

Dr. Valerie Parry, INP Grenoble - France

We are facing modern society challenges regarding innovation in material engineering. Phase transformations commonly occur in nature and are used today in many technologies.

Welding and Joining

AESSM2021

Prof. Dr. Mokhtar Awang, Universiti Teknologi Petronas - Malaysia

Welding is a fabrication process that joins materials, usually metals or thermoplastics, by using high heat to melt the parts together and allowing them to cool, causing fusion. Welding is distinct from lower temperature metal-joining techniques such as brazing and soldering, which do not melt the base metal.

Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials

AESSM2021

Dr. Zoulikha Abdellsadek, University Boumerdes - Algeria

Nanomaterials describe, in principle, materials of which a single unit small sized (in at least one dimension) between 1 and 100 nm (the usual definition of nanoscale).

Finite Element Method

AESSM2021

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan KÖTEN - Istanbul Medeniyet University - Turkey

The finite element method (FEM) is a computational modelling technique that has been employed in many scientific and industrial applications. Despite the significant developments of FEM during the past decades, some key technical challenges remain outstanding.

Manufacturing process of Materials

AESSM2021

Prof. Patrick Masset - TU Koszalin - Poland

Manufacturing engineering, or the manufacturing process, are the steps through which raw materials are transformed into a final product. The manufacturing process begins with the product design, and materials specification from which the product is made. These materials are then modified through manufacturing processes to become the required part.
